Innovation for a Healthier Future

Connecting clinicians, researchers, entrepreneurs, and innovators to reimagine diabetes care.

Summit

Reimagining Diabetes Care Through Innovation

MIT Hacking Medicine Kuala Lumpur brings together clinicians, researchers, engineers, entrepreneurs, designers, technology leaders, patients, and healthcare innovators to tackle one of the most pressing challenges in modern healthcare: diabetes.

Diabetes affects millions of people across Asia, creating complex challenges that extend beyond diagnosis and treatment—from prevention and early detection to long-term disease management, patient engagement, access to care, and the prevention of complications.
This summit is designed to bring diverse perspectives together and ask a fundamental question:

How can we reimagine diabetes care to make it more accessible, personalized, effective, and human-centered?
Through keynote presentations, expert panels, interactive sessions, and innovation-focused discussions, participants will explore emerging opportunities in digital health, artificial intelligence, medical technology, data, remote monitoring, precision medicine, behavioral health, and healthcare delivery.

The summit will also create opportunities for participants to connect across disciplines, share ideas, identify unmet needs, and develop practical approaches to improving outcomes for people living with diabetes.
